Here is one of my favorite appetizer recipes. Everyone always raves about it and it’s my go-to recipe to take to parties and gatherings. You can serve it with crackers or veggies. It also makes a great topping for a burger.
I highly recommend using a food processor to chop the peppers because you want them to be pretty finely chopped. Do it slowly and pulse them so that you don’t end up with liquid.

Cheese Slaw

Ingredients
- 1 Swiss Cheese Bar 12 oz.
- 2 jalapeños
- 1 jar of banana peppers drained
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise enough to bind
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop banana peppers and jalapeños. I use the food processer and do them separately.
- Shred cheese using grater or food processor.
- Add cheese and peppers to bowl. Then add mayonnaise slowly, just enough to bind it. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with crackers, bagel chips or vegetables.
Notes
I like to keep one banana pepper ring aside to use as a garnish on top.
Also, this is great as a condiment for a sandwich or a burger.
