Cheese Slaw

Here is one of my favorite appetizer recipes. Everyone always raves about it and it’s my go-to recipe to take to parties and gatherings. You can serve it with crackers or veggies. It also makes a great topping for a burger.

I highly recommend using a food processor to chop the peppers because you want them to be pretty finely chopped. Do it slowly and pulse them so that you don’t end up with liquid.

Ingredients

  • 1 Swiss Cheese Bar 12 oz.
  • 2 jalapeños
  • 1 jar of banana peppers drained
  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise enough to bind
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Chop banana peppers and jalapeños. I use the food processer and do them separately.
  • Shred cheese using grater or food processor.
  • Add cheese and peppers to bowl. Then add mayonnaise slowly, just enough to bind it. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve with crackers, bagel chips or vegetables.

Notes

I like to keep one banana pepper ring aside to use as a garnish on top. 
Also, this is great as a condiment for a sandwich or a burger.
